Prof. Dr. Yavuz DEMİREL was born in Ardahan in 1973. In 1997, he graduated from Niğde University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences as the first in the Faculty. He completed his master's degree in 2000 and his doctorate in Niğde University Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Business Administration in 2005. He worked as a research assistant at Niğde University Aksaray Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Business Administration, Department of Management and Organization between 1998-2006. He worked as an Assistant Professor at Aksaray University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Business Administration, Department of Management and Organization between 2007-2010 and as an Associate Professor between 2010-2015. Between 2015-2023, he worked as a Professor at Kastamonu University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Business Administration, Department of Management and Organization. He is currently working as a Professor at Çankırı Karatekin University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Business Administration, Department of Management and Organization.
In addition to his duties as a Member of the Senate, Member of the University, Faculty and School Administrative Board, Dean, Vice Dean, School Director, Vocational School Director, Head of Department, Head of Department, Head of Department, Head of Regulation and Directive Commission, Member of Ethics Committee, Quality Coordinator at the universities where he worked, he actively took part in duties such as University-Industry Cooperation commission member , 11th Development Plan Effective Management Commission, KOSGEB Applied Entrepreneurship Training as an instructor and YÖKAK Monitoring Team Membership. He coordinated the transition process of Kastamonu University to TS EN ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System at the institutional level.
Prof. Dr. Yavuz DEMİREL has many published works at national and international level. He is among the "Top 10 Thousand" academicians in the "World Scientist and University Ranking" published by AD Scientific Index. Prof. Dr. Yavuz DEMİREL is married and four children.
